Truly proud of Jacob. The geography bee award was expected as he had done really well in the school-wide competition. The humbling moment of gratitude came when Jacob was 1 of 12 7th grade students to receive the Viking Sail award (out of 400 7th graders). This award honors integrity, respect, accountability and trustworthiness as selected by his teachers. Wow! Kudos to Jacob for demonstrating his character so clearly in year 1 at a new school. Jacob is a gift to each of us (and apparently his school too!).
